A patio has been laid on the newly levelled ground and a new natural stone stairway installed from the balcony down into the garden area. COMMITTEE BUSINESS Eight new folding Gopak tables and 40 upholstered chairs have been purchased to replace furniture from the old hall. Curtaining has been installed across the balcony end wall and window and the side windows; additional cutaining will shortly be installed across the alcove. The curtaining has improved the acoustics and added warmth to the function room. A 3Kw fan heater has been installed to boost the hall heating when necessary. The Committee have received full planning permission for a new storage room at the back of the hall for furniture and equipment. A building regulations order has been applied for, and it is hoped to build the new store during the summer of 2008. Unconfirmed minutes of LCHA AGM April 2008. |
