LAMBS Projects

book cover
Llansannor Booklet 1999
The booklet captures and describes elements of the local environment and social development that are some of the 'essential ingredients' of Llansannor, helping to explain the way it developed and the way it is now. The account is not just of local interest but highlights issues of wider relevance to an understanding of rural communities in general and the features and events that give them their character. The booklet is now out of print.

Isycoed Farm
Treasures of Llansannor
The Treasures project involved a complete re-survey of the heritage of the Vale of Glamorgan, undertaken through engaging and training volunteers from each of the 27 community areas in the Vale. The results of the survey have been entered into a database and will be used for the production of educational materials for schools. LAMBS was given responsibility for selecting Llansannor entries for the database.

Llansannor information board
LAMBS has ring fenced £1000 of previous funding - acquired as part of a Millennium award - for the design, construction and installation of an information board within the Llansannor Community Hall garden.

Free copies of the booklet were presented to every household in Llansannor and to all guests attending the Opening Ceremony. Additional copies are available from the LCHA at a cost of £5.
